AF Rare Pink Vintage 1960’s Short Story

The Rare Pink Vintage 1960’s Series is Carlito Fuente’s passion project, created with his daughter Liana and named for the color of breast cancer awareness — a portion of every box sold goes to breast cancer research. Blended over years and debuted in 2020, it is a full-bodied reimagining of the Hemingway perfecto: a toothy Ecuadorian wrapper from the Oliva family’s La Mecca farm over a Nicaraguan binder, with Fuente estate-grown fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Rich and layered — cedar, spice, earth, cocoa, coffee and roasted almond over a creamy finish. Every size is a figurado, and the line has earned ratings as high as 93.

The Short Story at 4″ x 42/40 — the smallest perfecto in the line, and the analogue of the Hemingway size that made the shape famous.
