Rolled in the Dominican Republic, the 1875 is dressed in an oily, shade-grown Indonesian TBN wrapper over a Dominican binder and aged Dominican Piloto and Olor long fillers. Medium-bodied and unhurried, it gives up cedar, hazelnut, gentle earth and a light peppery finish, with the slow, even burn and effortless draw the line built its reputation on. A cigar Churchill himself favored, and still one of the most requested boxes on any retailer’s shelf.
