Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Robusto

Reserva Real is the richer chapter of the Romeo story. Handmade at Tabacalera de Garcia in the Dominican Republic, it wears the same blonde Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper as the prized Vintage line, but the blend beneath is heartier: a Nicaraguan binder and a long-filler mix of Dominican leaf spiked with Nicaraguan ligero. The result is medium-bodied and creamy, layered with toasted cedar, butter, nuts and a measured cedary spice that keeps it from ever turning sleepy. A 91-rated everyday cigar that smokes far above its price.
