Padron Family Reserve 85 Years Maduro

Padron Family Reserve began as a private blend, rolled for the family’s own gatherings and never intended for sale. When enough of the select leaf had been set aside, the Padrons released it. Drawn from high-priming Nicaraguan tobacco aged well beyond even the 1926 standard, it is the most luxurious cigar the family makes — full-bodied but extraordinarily smooth, with cocoa, roasted coffee, cedar and a dense, sweet spice that holds all the way down. The Family Reserve No. 45 Maduro has scored as high as 98 points and was named Cigar of the Year.

The 5¼” x 50 No. 85, marking Jose Orlando Padron’s 85th birthday. The most approachable size in the series. The maduro wears a darker, extra-fermented Nicaraguan wrapper, adding sweetness, body and a richer cocoa depth.
