Introduced in 1994 for the company’s thirtieth anniversary, the Padron 1964 Anniversary Series is the cigar that made box-pressing famous. A Nicaraguan puro through and through — wrapper, binder and filler all grown on Padron farms and aged a minimum of four years — it sits medium-to-full, with cedar, cocoa powder, leather, nuts and coffee bean layered over a smooth, even core. Rated 97 points and Cigar of the Year in 2021, and still widely considered the best cigar available under twenty-five dollars. Each stick carries the numbered anti-counterfeit band.
5″ x 52 in a square tubo. The robusto, travel-ready and gift-ready in one. The natural wears a sun-grown Nicaraguan wrapper — the lighter, drier, more cedar-forward of the two finishes.
