Ashton VSG Pegasus

Ashton VSG — Virgin Sun Grown — is the cigar that proved Ashton could go full-bodied. The wrapper is an Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf grown in direct sun rather than under shade, which thickens it and loads it with oil, laid over aged Dominican binder and filler from the Fuente family’s own reserves. Medium-full to full, with a dense core of espresso, dark cocoa, black pepper, cedar and sweet earth. Among the most consistently high-rated cigars in the Dominican catalog, and the one VSG smokers buy by the box without tasting first.
