Montecristo Classic Toro

Handmade at Tabacalera de Garcia in La Romana, Dominican Republic, the Montecristo Classic is the line that introduced a generation of American smokers to the marque. A silky, golden Connecticut Shade wrapper is drawn over aged Dominican binder and long-filler tobaccos, producing a mild-to-medium smoke built on cream, lightly toasted nuts, cedar and a whisper of warm spice. Blended by the Grupo de Maestros, it is a study in restraint rather than power — even-burning, effortless on the draw, and as comfortable with morning coffee as with an evening pour. The benchmark against which smooth Dominican cigars are still measured.

At 6″ x 52, the toro stretches the blend into a longer, more contemplative smoke.
